Inspired by both traditional and contemporary Neriage pottery, we have been making our styles of Neriage since 2012. We first opened our retail shop in Oyster Bed Bridge in 2014, then five years later we moved our retail space to our home studio in Cornwall, Prince Edward Island.
Isako Suzuki, our head potter designs and creates each piece of pottery. Her main fascination has been the illusory effects of gradation bands created with white and dark coloured stoneware clays by using a Neriage technique. Her work has been selected to be included in the juried ceramic art exhibitions in Japan. Most recently, two of her Neriage vases were the purchased by the Confederation Centre Art Gallery for their January 2023 Art Lotto in support of arts education and island artists.
We strive to create each piece as aesthetically pleasing, high quality work in hopes that it will bring much joy to our collectors for many years to come.
